Guide To Get The Best
Group Health Plan Quotes

Best Options

Getting a group insurance quote requires risk assessment information on the employer and on employees. Coverage deals with multiple families, who have diverse medical histories and conditions. They also spread risks with larger member pools.

Our program is unique because insurance, although the centerpiece, is only one part of our multi-component Fitness Culture Plan. This program will help you build a Workplace Fitness Culture that reduces employer cost and responsibilities while promoting employee capabilities and productivity.

Underwriting rules and statutory requirements for employees are different, depending on the number of members and on the state in which the insured is located. Two or more people can qualify. Underwriting requirements tend to break the number of employees into the categories of 2 - 9, 10 -50 and 51 up to several hundred or several thousand, depending on the insurance carrier.

First Step - Get a Preliminary Quote:

Employee Group

First, go to our health insurance online Group Quote Request web page and apply for a no cost, no obligation proposal.

The typical protocol for getting a group online proposal starts with this step. This online form is intended to generate preliminary and summary information on your organization, on the type plan and coverage you want, and on a census and initial underwriting information for the individual group members and their participating dependents.

The form will provide enough information for insurers to pre-screen, make initial risk assessments and respond with their preliminary vanilla proposals.

On the basis of the information you submit, we will secure one or more "best fit" proposals from the most appropriate insurers for you to consider. This will typically take a day or two if information is complete and there are no questions. We will email preliminary options to you. We will then be available by email or telephone to answer your questions and to help you consider any corrections, additions or alternatives.

How Can You Know

Second Step - Selection, Application and Enrollment:

Once you are comfortable with your options and select the best one, we will act as your advisor and advocate to help you prepare and submit an online application to put coverage in place.

Depending on insurer requirements, application for the insurance plan you select will typically involve completion, signing and submission on the insurer's form of the following documents:

* An employer health plan application;

* An employer profile form to generate in-depth background and risk assessment information;

* An employee enrollment application to provide individual and/or family health condition and background information on each participating member and his or her dependents;

* Application premium deposit.

Once application information is complete and there are no additional issues, final processing and risk assessment might typically take ten to fourteen days, maybe more depending on insurer workload and any need for additional inquiry. The product will be a final proposal from the insurer, which may involve any changes in policy terms and conditions and any change in premium level from the initial quote that the insurer deems necessary based on final risk assessment.

Third Step - Approval and Completion:

Employer Eligibility

This insurer final proposal will be subject to your approval and acceptance. The proposal will usually be valid for at least 14 days, sometimes longer, for you to accept. We will assist you with any questions or needs for clarification.

Upon your approval and acceptance, we will help you coordinate with the insurer for any needs of processing and enrollment in order to complete the start up before the intended effective date. The effective date you should target would be before the expiration of the proposal you accept, but not later than the termination date or renewal date of any coverage that is being replaced.

WARNING: NEVER CANCEL YOUR CURRENT INSURANCE UNTIL REPLACEMENT COVERAGE IS APPROVED AND IN PLACE.
